Description
Designed for high throughput and data integrity, the RackStation RS4021xs+ 16-Bay NAS Enclosure from Synology is a 16-bay, 3 RU storage solution with built-in redundant power that is capable of hosting demanding services involving virtualization, mail, office collaboration, and surveillance, to meet the unique requirements of enterprise environments. This unit has 16 drive bays, each of which natively supports 3.5" SATA hard drives, as well as 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs. Should users need to expand the overall capacity of their RS4021xs+, two optional RX1217/RX1217RP expansion units may be used to connect up to 24 additional drive bays, and each unit is connected using an integrated expansion port. The RS4021xs+ can deliver 4K random reads of up to 234,698 IOPS and sequential reads of up to 6258 MB/s. Key Features
